GREAT MYSTERIES
The Stories and Myths of the Unexplained.
STRANGE BUT TRUE??? STRANGE BUT TRUE(Contd.)
Every year many thousands of
people report ghostly presences,
out-of-body experiences, lights in the sky....
and the foreseeing of events that are
so detailed in their accuracy that
they cannot be put down as mere
coincidence.You could take me for
an example of how people have
been so taken by this stuff.
Once when i was homealone and
my parents were late back from
work i used to get this feeling
inside me that said that my parents had had an accident and that they were dead.
What a thought uh?!!Well i have always
been interested in unsolved mysteries
-especially the Bermuda Triangle and
Loch Ness monster Mystery.

Unresolved questions have always been
a source of endless fascination to
people;many remain to be answered
and a tantalising few will never be.
Are all photographs of UFO'S genuine?
Is telepathy possible?Do vampires and werewolves really exist?
I invite u to become a paranormal
detective as you travel thru' this
world of mystery and horror.Whatever
your conclusions, may your own
experiences, explainable or otherwise
,be pleasant ones.

THE LOCH NESS MONSTER
This is one mystery that i feel has already been solved though there
are many who wouldn't agree with me.During 1987, an expedition searching
Loch Ness,Scotland picked up some sonar traces of an animal believed to
be a fish :as big as a shark. But when they passed over the same area again
there was no trace of the being. But they thought that they had come
up with enough evidence to prove the evidence of the Loch Ness monster-Nessie tho' they still don't know what sort of animal
Nessie might be.A popular theory is that Nessie ia a surviving
plesiosaur,a marine reptile whose
heyday as with the other great animals ended about 65 million years ago.But
then there are again difficulties with this idea 'cos before about 10,000
years ago, Loch Ness as a result of the Ice Age was capped by a vast glacier.
It would have been hard for any animal to have survived the icy water,
even more so in ice. This assumes that Nessie is not a comparatively recent
immigrant. But it is perfectly possible that a family of whales, dolphins or sharks
accidently found their way into Loch Ness and have lived there since.
Photographs abound but few prove convincing. Some are definite fakes
while others are obviously not pictures of a monster. So, is there a
monster in Loch Ness??? The scientific evidence is poor tho' reports from all
over the world suggest that this idea is not so silly as it might seem.
Many small lakes in Ireland and North America reported to have monsters.
But once a legend ,for whatever reason
has come into existence, people will believe that they can see the monster and
purely because of their expectations, will actually do so.
Alternatively,of course, there may well be monsters in Loch Ness.
